When to use Grass Mats vs. Ground Protection
For extremely muddy areas, this product can be combined with our ground protection mesh product to prevent the mats from sinking too far down into the mud.
While these erosion control mats can support vehicles driving in a straight line, they are not optimized for turning areas. Our ground protection mesh would be a better fit.
What are Grassmats? And how do they solve erosion issues?
The unique rubber design of Grassmats allows for a stable surface area even in muddy places. The holes allows evaporation to still occur, unlike other rubber mats. In addition, the holes encourage grass to grow through, completely hiding the surface and creating a seamless transition to your yard.

Quick & Easy Installation
They are extremely easy to install using our pegs and cable ties. Just fix the mat into the ground using the pegs and attach each mat using the cable ties.

These mats have been safety tested to and comply with ASTM F1292 and ASTM F1951 Impact Attenuation of Playground Surfacing Materials.
